Your choice
Necessary mechanisms remember settings and protect the contact form. Google Analytics is off by default. We enable it only when you choose “Allow analytics” or save an enabled analytics preference in settings. Scrolling or continuing to use the website does not count as consent.
reCAPTCHA v3 form protection is separate from optional analytics. We run it only when you attempt to send a correctly completed form. According to Google, the service sets a necessary _GRECAPTCHA cookie to analyse abuse risk. If you do not wish to use this protection, or your browser blocks it, you can email or call us directly.
You can equally choose “Reject optional”. The website, contact form and contact details remain available. The saved choice applies to this browser and device.
What the website stores
Cookies are small records read by a browser. We also use localStorage, which remains on your device and is not automatically sent with every request. The table covers both mechanisms.
| Name / technology | Purpose | When and how long |
|---|---|---|
| pm-consent-v1 · localStorage | Remembers the analytics choice: version, preference and decision date. | After a choice is made; valid for 180 days. |
| pixelmeal-motion-v2 · localStorage | Remembers your choice to reduce animations. | After using the animation toggle; until changed or browser data is cleared. |
| pm_contact · session cookie | Necessary session protecting the contact form against forged requests and abuse. | After interaction with the form; a session cookie. Token validity is up to 30 minutes. |
| _GRECAPTCHA · Google cookie | Spam-risk assessment by reCAPTCHA v3 when sending the form. Necessary for the selected spam protection; not an analytics cookie. | When you attempt to send a correctly completed form; Google determines cookie expiry. The single-use verification token is valid for up to 2 minutes. |
| _ga, _ga_* · cookies | Google Analytics 4 statistics, including browser and session recognition. | Only after analytics consent; up to 180 days from creation, without renewal on every visit. |
Your browser may delete records earlier or limit their lifetime. Once the preference expires, we ask you to choose again. If settings cannot be stored, a choice may last only for the current visit.
How optional analytics works
We use Google Analytics 4, ID G-XT3L6B5N4L, to understand which parts of the website are visited and how to improve them. We do not load the Google tag or send analytics requests before consent. In this version, the tag also does not run on pages containing the contact form.
We do not send form content, email addresses, phone numbers or names to Google. Analytics page addresses omit query parameters and # fragments; referring addresses are reduced to their origin. Google signals, advertising personalisation and advertising consents are disabled in our website code.
The cookies support visit statistics; they are not a guarantee of anonymity. Our privacy policy covers processing, recipients and your rights. See also Google’s information for users of partner sites (new tab).
Changing or withdrawing consent
Use “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time and turn analytics off. We will stop further data being sent by the tag and remove the _ga and _ga_* cookies accessible to this website. Withdrawal does not automatically erase data already sent to Google and does not apply retrospectively.
You can also remove cookies and website storage in your browser. Deleting the preference brings back the choice; analytics stays off until you agree again. Change settings separately on each browser and device.
Other connections and contact
Typefaces are fetched from Adobe Fonts. According to the provider, the font-delivery service itself does not set or use cookies; it does involve a connection to Adobe servers. Our privacy policy gives more detail. Facebook and Instagram are ordinary links to external websites; we do not run Meta Pixel or embed their platform widgets.
Google provides reCAPTCHA through the recaptcha.net domain. Our integration does not send Google the form fields. Our privacy policy describes technical data, recipients and possible transfers outside the EEA.
